Paintings of trees made in the forest. Some of these paintings took several days or up to a week to make. These long sustained interactions with the trees and birds and other critters including humans, looking and responding over time - it feels like a conversation. When I was a child living in the woods near Squamish, BC I used to talk to trees and the lake, maybe painting is a way for the trees to talk back.
