This is the fabled Green Man, featured on medieval architecture throughout Europe and also the Middle East. This Green Man takes his place on Fairy Lake near Port Renfrew. It is an imagined, remembered idea Fairy Lake while the man stands in for myself and my growing radicalization toward a more singular conception of human and nature and a return to wildness and play.
